Early medieval damascus steel knife


Early medieval/Viking utility knife with a sharpened blade made of more than 350 layers steel ,

genuine damascus steel . The Blade has app. 58 HCR (Rockwell) . Looks beautyfully and is really handy .

The handle  made is of walnut wood with brass lining.  Delivery includes a sturdy leather scabbard .

Every blade made of damascus steel has its own pattern , so if you order

a knife I will send you pics. of min 3 - max 5 knifes to go for the most

beautiful .

You can buy simple  damask steel knifes for 50 euro , this one is 95,-- euro because of  very good

workmanship . Of course these prices are for foreign made knifes . A good German damascus steel

knife for example costs between 1000 and 2000 euro minimum .


Many cooks use it , although it is not food safe . When you use a damask steel  blade it receives a

protecting patina and a drop food save oil helps too !
