Long Viking knife " Sweden "
The Viking knifes from Sweden served as models for this knife . Like many typical GotlandicSwedish
knives form the Viking period, the top part of the walnut wood handle
terminates in a bone ring and
a brass collar.
This knife is made of carbon steel . Carbon steel , consisting of iron and carbon , has a very fine
structure . This makes it possible to make it razor-sharp and it is very durable .
This is why many cooks use it , although it is not food safe . When you use a carbon blade it receives a
protecting patina and a drop food save oil helps too !
Carbone steel , Length: 27 cm (without ring) , blade 12cm
Walnut handle . Brass + bone decorations .
Inclusive leather scabbard with brass fittings.
