Viking knifes served as models for this knife . Like many typical knives form the Viking period, the top

part of the walnut wood handle terminates in a bone ring and a brass collar.

Early medieval/Viking utility knife with a sharpened blade made of more than 350 layers steel ,

genuine damascus steel . The Blade has app. 58 HCR (Rockwell) . Looks beautyfully and is really handy .

Made of 1085 and 15n20 ( alternativ 4340 ) steel .

It is inclusive a solid leather scabbard .  Scabbard LS 2 also fits , but must be ordered separately .

Every blade made of damascus steel has its own pattern , so if you order

a knife I will send you pics. of min 2 - max 5 knifes to go for the most

beautiful .

Many cooks use it , although it is not food safe . When you use a damask steel  blade it receives a

protecting patina and a drop food save oil helps too !
